Evaluation
Each patient’s condition is unique. For this reason, we offer an initial evaluation to determine each patient’s particular condition so that we can recommend the appropriate treatment protocol. The following is reviewed in the evaluation:
– Complete medical history
– Visual Exam
– Standing venous ultrasound/Venous mapping
– Discussion of Diagnosis
– Treatment Options (will depend on Ultrasound results & your specific anatomy and insurance)
During this 30 minute appointment you will meet our vein specialist who will come in and go over the treatment options based on your ultrasound and symptoms. An ultrasound of your deep and your superficial veins will be done before a treatment plan can be discussed. This appointment will be billed to your medical aid. After seeing the vein specialist you will go over pricing options for various treatment options.
